Geographical Load Forecasting

Forestry Web Map

We have recently completed a web-based mapping application for a forestry company. The solution allows the end-users to interact with their data and extract critical information related to the forestry compartments. They also have the ability to create and print Pdf maps.

Quartex technologies are always looking for potential. If you would like to join a dynamic company in the areas of development, GIS or graphic design, we would like to hear from you.

We are looking for .Net developers with a minimum of five years experience who can demonstrate their prowess in the development of web applications and who are competent in the use of SQL server. Suitable candidates will be able to use their initiative, be deadline driven and take real pride in their output. Appointments will be made on a project basis at a fixed daily rate (to be negotiated) with performance related project bonuses on completion. Developers would be expected to work closely with our technical team and hence need to be within commuting distance of Pietermaritzburg.

We are also seeking graphic or web site designers who are able to design and build quality web sites with little supervision. A demonstrable understanding of HTML, CSS and Flash are pre-requisites. Competance in SEO would be advantageous. Remuneration will depend on the particular project as we have varied clients and expectations. These website projects occur on an ad hoc basis, so we are ideally looking for a skilled freelancer. Again, we would like someone in the Pietermaritzburg area, but this is not essential.
