Quartex technologies were appointed as part of the VAMP consortium to undertake Eskom's Western Gauteng Network Master Plan. Our role in this project was the development of the Geographical Load Forecast.

We have recently completed a web-based mapping application for a forestry company. The solution allows the end-users to interact with their data and extract critical information related to the forestry compartments. They also have the ability to create and print Pdf maps.

This project was initiated by the Department of Land Affairs (DRDLR) in KwaZulu-Natal with the view to updating the 2008 rural settlement database on the size, location and nature of services available to these areas in the province

Products

quarteX technologies products have arisen out of needs identified during projects and the development of custom software. The capabilities of the products are expanding continually as both our clients and quarteX identify new requirements. All users of the products benefit from these upgrades as new features are rolled out to existing users. Our current products fall into two classes.

Our geographical systems are based on well established open source products which have bundled and customised to ensure painless deployment and low cost of ownership.
