MAPexchange HereAbout is a map-enabled advertising platform providing benefits for both advertisers and location-reliant service providers.  The system addresses the needs of three groups of consumers:
1. Web directory providers who would like mapping functionality on their site which go further than a Google map with a pin marking a site; for example: accommodation listing sites, real estate listing sites
2. Service providers who would like to attract potential customers to their premises; for example: restaurants
3. Web users who are looking for information of interest in a specific location; for example: a tourist booking hotels will be interested in what is close by that hotel

  • Web users who are looking for information of interest in a specific location; for example: a tourist booking hotels will be interested in what is close by that hotel.

 

Maps for listing sites are provided at little or no cost and are implemented through a single Java Script call. These maps will show both the location of the venue of interest and the location of contextually related advertisers.

Advertising on the platform is charged on a subscription basis, with self administered content and comprehensive advertising tracking and reporting to monitor the return on investment.
