Mapexchange API

QuarteX technologies hosts our own implementation of MAPexchange, our web mapping service (WMS), and provides access to developers through a fully featured application programming interface (API). The MAPexchange API is a toolbox which developers may use in conjunction with the MAPexchange WMS to create their own map enabled application. The currently available tools are:

  • Standard interactive mapping tools for:
    • Display map
    • Display features on a map with popup identity box
    • Zooming in and out
    • Panning
    • Measuring distances
    • Drawing points, lines and polygons
  • Custom tools for
    • Routing
    • Street and feature searches
    • Geocoding and reverse geocoding
    • Locating nearest feature

The set of tools is evolving, and will be updated periodically. For more information on how you may use the API, please contact us.
