We have recently completed the development of a tourism portal.
This solution is intended to allow for the integration of tourism
related information to be presented and accessed through a simple
interface. Various categories of information can be made available
including accommodation, restaurants, activities and
shopping. The portal has the following features:
For the advertisers: Information may be updated by either
administrators or by service providers. This ensures that service
providers on the site can keep their information current and
relevant
For the users: Users can provide feedback and reviews of the
service providers and may plan and print trips based on the venues
on the site. All venues are located using Google maps and the trip
planner will allow a trip map to be printed.
