QAssets implementations

The QAssets is now live with three of our clients:

  • Zululand District Municipality
  • Ingonyama Trust Board - Signboards
  • Department of Rural Development and Land Reform (KZN) - Low cost housing.

This demonstrates the flexibility of this very configurable system; these implementations being in water infrastructure, advertising and housing respectively.

The system was initially developed and tested in a pilot study as part of an infrastructure project in Vhembe Distrcit Municipality in 2008. It comprises a hierarchical asset structure against each element of which data collection fields can be defined and an integrated spatial interface. Documents, photographs and assessment data can be added at any level of the hierarchy. Our water infrastructure implementaion also includes the ability to receive and display telemetry data.
