Sappi tracking fine Paper Division

Pilot implementation of UbiMap to enable the integration of Sappi Fine Paper's SAP order and logistics planning information with vehicle tracking.

Sappi Fine Paper is currently testing a pilot implementation of a fully customised tracking application based on UbiMap. The objective of the application is to provide information to the logistics management team in real time allowing them to intercede proactively where deliveries are not going according to plan, and to pre-empt delivery problems. The implementation, which integrates SAP TPVS information with the outsourced transport partner's vehicle tracking data, comprises

  • an interactive mapping interface with comprehensive vehicle tracking and reporting
  • Dashboard and alerts interface to review activities against the plan highlight upcoming deviations
  • Performance reporting using 6 Sigma metrics

The pilot is expected to run for the next few weeks
