SMSFleet Runs MapExchange

SMSfleet, vendors of MyTracer fleet management and vehicle tracking, have commissioned a self hosted installation of MAPexchange Enterprise. The complete MAPexchange stack was not implemented on this occasion. The installation is limited to MapServer and a portion of the MAPexchange API for reverse geo-coding. SMSfleet have experienced development resources in house, and this installation complements their existing competencies.

MAPexchange is a customised web based geo spatial mapping suite based on the following open source software: MapServer, TileCache, OpenLayers and the custom developed MapExchange API. PostGIS is used where a fully featured spatial database is appropriate for the particular solution. For more information please contact us on info@quartex.co.zaand visit www.mapexchange.co.za
